Day & night
How observation works by day and night
In daylight the cameras show colour images. When it gets dark, they switch to night vision. This keeps activity around the hedgehog house visible during the hours when hedgehogs are most active. Night images are mainly shown in black and white.
About the hedgehog house
A sheltered place from two perspectives
The hedgehog house sits close to the ground in a natural garden area with leaves and plants. A water bowl and feeding station are placed in front of it. The exact location is intentionally not published.
The exterior camera shows arrivals, the entrance and the area in front of the house. The interior camera adds a second perspective and shows what happens after an animal enters, without disturbing it directly.
